Patch Notes – May 5, 2021

We are proud to present the new Battle Prime update, which will bring plenty of new content to the game, including the new Battle Pass, the 4th Competitive Season, and new customization, as well as various additions and refinements.


Here you will find a comprehensive list of in-game changes.



IN-GAME ACTIVITIES


  • 51 levels with rewards are waiting for you. You can receive a reward for the final Battle Pass level up to 50 times.

  • Rewards include new customization and in-game resources (weapon and Prime XP Cards; BattleCoins; PrimeCoins). The main reward – STALKER skin for POISON.

  • You can upgrade Battle Pass to Elite in the Battle Pass section. Upgrade price: 800 PrimeCoins for Standard Elite Pass and 1,800 PrimeCoins for Elite Pass PLUS (+20 levels skip).

  • Leaderboard has been updated.

  • Rewards for achieving certain leagues have been updated.

Two new draws:

  • ISOTOPE IS MAGIC! – the main reward is PONYSMASHER skin for ISOTOPE.

  • MAXIMUM CHARGE – the main rewards are animated legendary skins RESISTOR and INDUCTOR for MK4 and SMG-10 respectively.

Couponization event update:

  • Complete daily missions of the Couponization event and receive discount coupons for the ISOTOPE is a Magic and Maximum Charge draws.

  • Couponization event is available till the end of both draws.

  • Missions refresh daily at 12:00 (UTC).


Piggy Bank:

  • Earn account XP to fill up the Piggy Bank with PrimeCoins.

  • You can open the Piggy Bank anytime you want.

  • Fill your Piggy Bank up to 100% for a maximum profit.

  • Open your Piggy Bank and claim the accumulated currency.


SYSTEM CHANGES


Ranked Battles changes:

  • The calibration of 10 battles to determine the player's starting rank has been added.

  • Now, the player’s effectiveness in battle is taken into account while calculating its rank based on the results of the battle. This will help to avoid situations when a player receives 0 Trophies after the win.

  • Classic Ranked replaced the Trophy Road activity.

  • The number of divisions in the Hero and Legend leagues has increased up to 3.

  • The average team rank is now displayed on the team gathering screen while loading the battle.

5 new maps for close-quarters combat (CQC) have been added:

  • CQC CONVOY

  • CQC WASTELAND

  • CQC OLDTOWN

  • CQC COASTLINE

  • CQC OUTPOST

These maps are available in Team Deathmatch mode.


Several weapon sights have been redesigned.


Also in this version, various in-game features will be tested, including battle modes and events that will be available only to certain groups of players. These tests will allow us to collect the information necessary for further improvements to these features. In the future, in case of successful testing, these features will be available to all players.



BALANCE CHANGES


JUMPER's height and jump range have been slightly reduced. Also, the stun time of enemies after holding JUMPER has been decreased from 1.5 to 1 second.


ADS transition speed has been increased for all weapons. Attachments that affect ADS transition speed now give a fixed parameter change regardless of the weapon they are installed on.


The accuracy of all weapons has been decreased.


For all weapons, except for shotguns, a circular-uniform distribution of bullets is used instead of a uniform distribution. Thus, the accuracy has increased while shooting.


Shotguns now have two distributions:

  • The first one affects the spread of pellets as a single bullet – normal distribution.

  • The second one affects the accuracy of pellets – circular-uniform distribution.

For all weapons, the spread during firing/movement increases and recovers faster.


Recoil has been increased for all weapons.


For shotguns and some handguns, the damage and distance parameters have been changed:

  • SG500

    • Maximum damage has been increased from 1955 to 2000 pt.

    • The effective range has been decreased from 15 to 10 m.

    • Distance till the range of minimal damage has been increased from 25 to 30 m.

    • Sustaining of damage with the distance increase has been decreased by 15%.

  • SG870

    • Maximum damage has been increased from 2070 to 2200 pt.

    • Distance till the range of minimal damage has been increased from 20 to 30 m.

    • Sustaining of damage with the distance increase has been decreased by 30%.

  • PASS-12

    • Maximum damage has been decreased from 1955 to 1800 pt.

    • The effective range has been decreased from 15 to 10 m.

    • Distance till the range of minimal damage has been increased from 25 to 30 m.

    • Sustaining of damage with the distance increase has been decreased by 15%.

  • SG60

    • Maximum damage has been decreased from 1840 to 1000 pt.

    • Distance till the range of minimal damage has been increased from 20 to 30 m.

    • Sustaining of damage with the distance increase has been decreased by 8%.

  • Star Tactical

    • Maximum damage has been decreased from 2300 to 2100 pt.

    • The effective range has been increased from 5 to 10 m.

    • Distance till the range of minimal damage has been increased from 15 to 25 m.

    • Sustaining of damage with the distance increase has been decreased by 15%.

  • Super SG

    • Maximum damage has been decreased from 2185 to 1900 pt.

    • The effective range has been increased from 10 to 15 m.

    • Distance till the range of minimal damage has been increased from 20 to 30 m.

    • Sustaining of damage with the distance increase has been decreased by 25%.

  • KGS

    • Maximum damage has been decreased from 1955 to 1200 pt.

    • The effective range has been increased from 5 to 10 m.

    • Distance till the range of minimal damage has been increased from 15 to 20 m.

    • Sustaining of damage with the distance increase has been decreased by 20%.

  • Hammer 12

    • Maximum damage has been decreased from 2070 to 1100 pt.

    • The effective range has been decreased from 15 to 10 m.

    • Sustaining of damage with the distance increase has been decreased by 8%.

  • TACT-15

    • Maximum damage has been decreased from 2243 to 1300 pt.

    • The effective range has been increased from 20 to 30 m.

    • Sustaining of damage with the distance increase has been decreased by 20%.

  • Genesis

    • Maximum damage has been decreased from 1725 to 1400 pt.

    • The effective range has been increased from 5 to 10 m.

    • Distance till the range of minimal damage has been increased from 15 to 25 m.

    • Sustaining of damage with the distance increase has been decreased by 13%.

  • Preacher

    • Maximum damage has been increased from 863 to 1000 pt.

    • The effective range has been decreased from 10 to 5 m.

    • Distance till the range of minimal damage has been increased from 15 to 20 m.

    • Sustaining of damage with the distance increase has been decreased by 30%.


IN-GAME ITEMS


The amount of XP given by Prime and weapon XP Cards has been changed:

  • A rare XP Card provides 500 XP instead of 200 XP now.

  • An epic XP Card provides 2,000 XP instead of 500 XP now.

New items have been added:

  • Holograms are decorations that can be used during a battle. The hologram can be equipped in the Prime customization menu.

  • Avatar frames. The frame can be equipped in the Profile.

  • New skins and avatars.


COMMON CHANGES


Several screens have been improved, including

  • Squad play screen.

  • Ranked screen.

  • Team gathering screen.

  • Battle Pass upgrade screen.

  • Prime ability description screen.

  • Prime perks screen.

Memory optimization for weak devices has been improved.


The support of 120 FPS for several iOS devices has been added.


The overall game performance has been improved and various issues have been addressed, including:

  • An issue wherein the killing of Glitch copy counted in battle results: death, kills, and k/d ratio.

  • An issue wherein the Custom Battle did not start for one player.

  • An issue wherein the next level instead of the current level was shown in the Battle Pass widget.

  • An issue wherein a number of friends in the game were not shown on the Friends screen.

  • An issue wherein the game froze on some devices while Prime selection on the Prime screen.

  • An issue wherein the game froze on some devices when the battle starts or while the transition from the battle to the lobby.
